For each of our ministries we focus on…

Planting Seeds – Jn 12:24 states that “unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone, but if it dies it bears much fruit.” Our lives are like a seed with unlimited potential for growth and multiplication. In order to bear fruit however, a seed needs to be planted in good soil. For each of our ministries, our desire is to be planted in God’s will “good soil”, dying to our own ambitions and living for His.

Connected to the Vine – In Jn 15:5, Jesus says  “whoever abides in Me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit”. Doing works for God without being connected with God is a lifeless act that leads to frustration. We build practices into our ministries like daily prayer and study so that we can grow closer to God while we grow in serving others.

Bearing Fruit – Galatians 6:7 states that “whatever one sows, that will he also reap“. It is through planting our creative gifts in the soil of God’s will, and seeking daily to be connected with God, that we are able to produce the fruit of serving people through Watermelon Ministries.
